Meet our Founder
Dr. Wale Olabisi is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Paragon Fund. He has been an angel investor since 2013 and has invested in several startups. Prior to founding Paragon Fund, Wale was a petroleum geologist for several California based oil companies including Plains Exploration and Exploration, Freeport McMoRan Oil and Gas, and Sentinel Peak Resources. He is the president of The Olabisi Group – a U.S.A based investment management firm. At these companies, Dr. Wale was an integral part of the team that managed the companies oil and gas assets worth several millions of dollars.
Dr. Wale holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Nigeria, a Masters in Geology from California State University, Bakersfield, and a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, U.S.A. He holds an MBA from Louisiana Tech University, Ruston, U.S.A. Dr. Wale is a Certified Blockchain Expert™ and a Certified NFT Expert™.
